Fossil fuels account for up to 84% of global energy consumption and 63% of electricity production. Driven by the damage to the environment and human health caused by fossil fuels and the main cause of climate warming, the EU and other world organizations are imposing increasingly strict requirements on the emission of combustion gases.

At the moment, there are no serious alternatives for the complete replacement of fossil fuels by 2030. According to EIA (US Energy Information Agency) studies, the use of fossil fuels will not decrease significantly even by 2050.
